History in Action
In our weekly KS2 History club, we love learning about new areas of History that we haven't explored before. So far we have learnt about the medieval times, the Victorians, the Shang Dynasty, Benjamin Franklin and Cambodia's famous temple- Angkor Wat
At the end of their topic on the Ancient Greeks, St Andrew's class sculpted and painted their own clay Greek vases
To kick-start their new History topic on Monarchs, St Clare, St Bernedette and St Peter's class spent the day as kings and queens!
Year 3 and 4 enjoyed an Ancient Egyptian day. They created Egyptian Gods fact files and explored hieroglyphics. They then looked at the process of mummification and had the chance to mummify an apple before attempting to mummify each other! !
