Child Led Responsibilities
Each one must use for the good of others, the special gift he has received from God.
Serve with the strength that God gives, so that in all things, praise may be given to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 4:10-11
Children are encouraged to take active responsibilities in the school and contribute to the management and improvement of the school.
The responsibilities currently held are:
Head Boys and Head Girls Are democratically elected to represent the school | Chaplains Pupils who are proactive faith leaders for the class | Eco-Warriors Recycle and lead class and school incentives to make the school more environmentally conscious |
Language Leaders Promote and celebrate international aspects of our school and help with translations | Playtime Buddies Keep an eye out for children in their class who are not playing with anyone/are available for children who to help them make friends and enjoy their playtimes | Digital Leaders Are responsible for all things digital |
Attendance Officers Will keep an eye on attendance and punctuality in class and incentivise other children to come to school and be punctual | House Captains Lead the houses in sporting events | Makaton Leaders Make sure our school is inclusive. Attend Makaton club and model signs for the rest of the class/school |
Buddies Year 6 children who look after their buddies in Reception | School Councillors Help make decisions for the good for the school and lead class council meetings | Librarians Are responsible for checking out and in books from the library for their classes |
