I can't believe this is your last term in St Paul's class! Where has this year gone? We have got such a busy and fun summer term coming up!

Dates for your diary:

Monday 6th June - back to school

Tuesday 7th June - KS1 science fait

Wednesday 15th June - class photos

w/c 20th June - heritage week

Monday 4th July - Godstone farm trip 

Wednesday 6th July - KS1 sports day 

Friday 8th July - summer fair after school

Thursday 21st July - last day of term. finish at 1.30pm 

Reminders:

  • Please make sure all clothing items are clearly labelled with your child's name.
  • A reusable water bottle should be named and brought into school daily for your child.
  • Our PE day is on Thursday, children must have PE kits in school at all times (again, clearly labelled)
  • Reading books are changed on their 'reader day'. Please make sure you comment in the books once completed so that we know they are ready to be changed. 
  • Homework is given out on Fridays and is due back on the following Wednesday. 
  • Spellings are handed out with homework and they will be tested the following Friday

As part of Heritage week, we had a Bollywood dancing workshop - we had lots of fun!

The Queen's Jubilee celebrations!

Exploring our new school library!

We had an exciting visitor today! Wonder Dome came to help us with our space explorers topic! We loved it!

Half term homework - Inspirational people

Jamie Knight came to visit today - he is a football freestyler. He showed us some of his tricks and we got to try some out for ourselves!

In class we have been observing the life cycle of a caterpillar - we loved watching them fly off when it was time for them to be released! We named them Geoffrey, Narnia and Lala :)

Drawing butterflies - we closely observed some butterflies and carefully sketched them
