Our Catholic Life in School
Crowning of Mary. On 24th May, we held a beautiful Crowning of Mary Liturgy led by the First Communion children. We sang Marion songs and said a decade of the Rosary with children leading the Hail Mary in ten different languages. Many children brought flowers to honour Our Lady. These flowers were then brought to our local cemetery

The work of CRiBS supports the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of children and young people as we seek to inspire Growing Faith and promote Living Values.
Our desire is that all children have the opportunity to explore and think through the values they live by and the beliefs that underpin them.
Our starting point is that the Christian story provides a compelling framework for doing this in a way that includes people of all backgrounds and provides space for growth and exploration.
We work closely with CRIBS through providing the opportunity for our girls and boys to get social and emotional support individually or in groups. CRIBS also perform a Christmas and Easter play for all the school and work with Year 6 preparing them for Secondary School.

Pupil Voice from pupils in Year 5 - some opinions about the school:
Even if we’re all different, we still love everyone else
Everybody here is kind and friendly
The teachers are really nice
In class, we learn about praying and God’s story
Right now, we’re in Lent so we have all made a Lenten promise
In assemblies, you get Feel Good Friday so that you can celebrate the end of the week and look forward to next week
We have a Monday Message which we try to remember through the week and do it!
We learn about the Saints and how they became Saints like St Paul
We listen to stories from the Bible
We get to learn about God and you can learn about Lent and Pentecost and all the celebrations
We do more praying. This is good because you’re talking to God. We can read the Bible, we can go to Church. We pray in class.
We have lots of celebrations and Masses
We prepare for big celebrations like during Advent and Lent
We pray all together as a big family
We always learn the true meanings behind celebrations
